Beginner-friendly • No drone required
Drone autonomy with Python.
8-week 1:1 program. Your child writes Python to fly drones in a real-time simulator, with live coaching over Zoom. Available anywhere in the US. Optional in-person drone labs in Atlanta.
No credit card required. No commitment.
How it works
Weekly 1:1 sessions over Zoom, available anywhere in the US. Your child gets their own simulation workstation and connects from any computer at home.
- Pick a weekly time and check out.
- Install two free tools (ThinLinc + Cloudflared). We do this together in session 1.
- Each week: connect to the workstation, code on Zoom with me, push toward a final demo.
What you need
- Any laptop/desktop + stable internet.
- ThinLinc Client (free, all platforms).
- Cloudflared (free, quick install).
- Headphones + mic for Zoom.
- A quiet space for live sessions.
- Willingness to tinker and problem-solve.
We walk through setup together in the first session.
What your child will learn
Skills that transfer directly from simulation to real robotics.
- Python fundamentals through hands-on drone control.
- Takeoff, hover, waypoint paths, and landing sequences.
- How to read errors, debug, and iterate. Real engineering habits.
- A final mission demo they design themselves.
